Heated Breathwork & Meditation in Lexington, KY

Welcome to Heated Breathwork and Meditation. We observe meditation before and after all classes here at the studio. The tools in this class are designed for you to use in our other practices here and for you in your daily life. In this 45 minute class, we will take you through different forms of breathing and meditation styles in a consistent format with enough variety for you to keep learning and thriving. Our studio strives in all classes to provide you with strength, consistency, and enjoyment. We hope you’ll try this class as well as a perfect compliment to everything we offer and stand alone strength of skill on its own.

  • Arrive Hydrated and Open-Minded: Come to class well-hydrated and ready to explore your breath. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to be present and curious.
  • Focus on the Breath: Follow guided breathing techniques led by your instructor. You’ll practice styles like box breathing, diaphragmatic breathing, or alternate nostril breathing—all designed to calm the mind and energize the body.
  • Let the Heat Support You: The gentle heat enhances physical release and mental focus. Allow it to soften tension and help you settle more deeply into your practice.
  • Integrate Stillness and Reflection: Meditation will bookend your session, giving you time to center yourself before and after breathwork. This space allows insights and calm to rise naturally.

Physical Health Benefits

Heated breathwork and meditation offer a powerful combination of physical and mental health benefits that can support overall well-being. Physically, the warmth of the heated room helps to loosen muscles, improve circulation, and enhance lung capacity, making each breath more impactful and each session more restorative. Practicing controlled breathing in this environment can also aid in detoxification, boost immune function, and increase energy levels throughout the day.

Mental Health Benefits

Mentally and emotionally, breathwork and meditation are proven tools for reducing stress, calming anxiety, and sharpening focus. The consistent rhythm of intentional breathing helps regulate the nervous system, creating a sense of balance and grounding. As you develop mindfulness through regular practice, you’ll likely notice improved sleep, greater emotional resilience, and a clearer connection to your inner self. These benefits don’t just stay in the studio—they ripple out into every area of life, helping you feel more centered, present, and empowered.

Not at all! This class is designed for everyone—whether you’re completely new to breathwork and meditation or looking to deepen an existing practice. Our instructors will guide you every step of the way.

Bring a yoga mat, a towel, and a bottle of water. Since the class is held in a heated room, comfortable, breathable clothing is recommended. You may also want to bring an eye pillow or small cushion for added comfort during meditation.

Not in the same way. While the heat is present, the class focuses on intentional breathing and stillness rather than physical movement. Many people find it both deeply relaxing and surprisingly energizing.

The heat can help your body relax more quickly, improve circulation, and amplify the physical and mental effects of breathwork. It also encourages a deeper internal focus, helping you tune into your breath and sensations more fully.

Heated Breathwork & Meditation combines guided breathwork techniques with meditation, offering a dynamic and structured approach. The breathwork helps quiet the mind and prepare the body for a more effective and accessible meditation experience.

Absolutely! This class complements our yoga offerings beautifully. The skills you develop here—focused breath, mental clarity, and self-awareness—will enhance your experience in every other class we offer.
